Straight Outta Compton movie review

I love when I get the chance to review a movie I have previously reviewed the trailer of, and be right on absolutely everything I predicted. This movie WAS intense. This movie WAS awesome. This movie WAS absolutely entrancing! Straight Outta Compton follows the group NWA on their rise to fame and the members lives before and after the group. It has been a long time since I have seen something with this good of a story arc and character progression! Straight Outta Compton focuses mainly on the lives of Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, and my personal favorite, Ice Cube. Yes, DJ Yella and MC Ren are in this but they take sort of a back seat to the main three. What I do love though is the cameo appearances of young Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Suge Knight, and The D.O.C., all who were played perfectly! What Straight Outta Compton does, is never really make any of the members bad. Sure at some point they all do something shady and dickish (especially Eazy), but they were gangsters! Throughout the movie Eazy has his moment in the sun, focusing on him and his road to where he is. Then Dre has his, the Cube. What I loved most though WAS when NWA broke up. We got to see everyone go out on their own, grow up, get families, release solo albums, and meet up again after years. Something you have to be wary of though, is this IS an accurate biography, and these WERE gangsters. There is plenty of violence, drugs, swearing (a shit ton), nudity, sex, and so on! You should not let that stop you from watching this though, as it is an amazing movie that is a must see to everyone.
