Boyhood movie review

boyhood-poster

Boyhood astounds me in many many ways. Not only do I find it to be absolutely amazing that this movie was made over 12 years, but just what it took to make that happen. What if an actor got in an accident? What if someone decided they didn’t want to do it anymore? What if something happened with the film? So many things could have gone wrong, but didn’t. They went perfect. What I love about this movie is it is so normal. There is not big climax or action sequence, no main bad guy, it is just life. I love that and find it beautiful that everyday life, what we are doing now is entertainment enough… Besides all that sap what was great is that I grew up with this kid, we are the same age, so I related to everything he did, saw, played with, and liked… This movie is a masterpiece and I highly recommend you see it.
