The Ranch TV show review

Okay so I may or may not have watched all of these in a day… Shut up, I do too have a life! The Ranch brings Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson together again… in basically the same roles from That 70’s Show. But, who cares?! The Ranch follows the Bennett fanily as they struggle to keep their ranch afloat. Colt Bennett (Kutcher) returns home after 15 years away playing football to help his brother Rooster (Masterson), and his dad Beau played by Sam Elliot. I honestly did not have much hope for this, and now I can’t even remember why! Kutcher and Masterson riff off each other better than they did ten years ago and Sam Elliot is hilarious with every moment he insults them. This show is full of side characters and story lines that could actually stretch far and go deep… Growing up in a small town and working on a farm I love this show. The feel they give you of everyone knowing everyone is real, and it shows the funny side of it that is hard to see!.. The hands down best part of this show though, and what truly brought everyone to it, is Kutcher and Masterson. When they talk and fuck around you get a real brotherly bond feel from them. Not only that, but they are god damn hilarious!.. When I say this don’t take it lightly, but, I laughed harder at this than I have at a TV show in quite a while.

  1. I have watched 4 episodes so far and I love it. There is a unexpected nostalgic element to the show and its characters. They feel like a real family, people I have known forever. With every episode it is as if I am being invited to come in, sit down, have a steak (unless Rooster got to it first) and be insulted like a true member of the family. I look forward to the next 6 episodes.
