An alarming number of critics and websites have scored this movie absurdly low, averaging it somewhere in the low seventies out of one hundred. Well, I don’t have a rating system of any kind, I think it would be overly complicated and limit my writing down to numbers and I don’t like that. I will tell you here and now though that scoring this movie in the low seventies is absolutely idiotic and is underselling one of the greatest comedies I have seen in a long time. Sitting among movies such as Anchorman, Super Troopers, and possibly even Holy Grail when it comes to ridiculous yet hilarious comedies. Comedy duo Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key, fresh off of their brilliant show “Key and Peele”, deliver a movie together that only two people with this chemistry could. And what is it about? A god damn cat. Who doesn’t love that? Now, I’m not going to tell you anything more than that. I have given it the best thumbs up for you I possibly could, and if that’s not enough than those two names together should be.
