Full House TV show review

Look at how 90s that poster is! Awesome!.. Anyway, as you remember (because I assume you read every single one of my reviews) a while back I reviewed Fuller House and I wasn’t the biggest fan, but it was passable. I have a piece of advice for you. NEVER watch all of Full House and the rewatch Fuller House. There is no comparison. I had forgot in the years of not watching this how absolutely hilarious and heart warming this show is! Immediately you feel like you are part of this spectacular family. Everyone knows the story of Full House. Danny Tanner loses his wife and his best friend Joey and brother in law Jesse move in to help raise his daughters DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle… Speaking of the kids. What in the world happened to child actors? This show was 30 years ago and they are 10 times better actors than ANY kid now!.. This show does have a distinct pattern though. A conflict happens at the beginning of the show and by the end of the show everyone has learned valuable lessons and “hugs it out”. Thats OK though because it’s meant to be a family series.. Easily the best part of this show is seeing these characters grow over time, both physically and mentally. Watching the kids grow up from elementary kids into high schoolers and adults is amazing. Watching Jesse and Joey develop a life long friendship out of hatred makes you believe in friendship. Watching Jesse go from a hardcore rebel to a responsible dad shows you that anything is possible… This show is a classic and no matter how much time goes by will be a hilarious and wholesome time.

Fuller House TV show review

This show did what was impossible… Made me kind of like it after I already hated it. Fuller House is a 29 years later spin off of Full House. It follows DJ Tanner-Fuller after just losing her husband. Her sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy move in with her to help take care of her kids. This show is not original in any sense of the word or any sort of way. The plot line is the exact same, the characters are the exact same AND age difference… Even the chemistry between characters and the roles those characters play is the same! Though, I have to say, Stephanie and Kimmy make a great Jesse and Joey. Okay, so, I was very turned off from this show in the first episode. Mainly because it felt like a shitty reunion special. It was a reunion, but a terribly done one! It was just twenty five minutes of people walking into a room and then clapping. Stick with it though! Once it gets toward the dynamic of the girls, and not the old cast, it’s good!.. By good I mean 80’s good though. This show is SO 80’s. All the comedy is 80’s, the stories, the dialogue, and most of the acting… The only comedy that is not out of the 80’s is the strange out-of-left-field sex jokes. BUT, they mostly hit and make me laugh. That is what counts. (Sexy plumber was the best). For me the show stealer was Stephanie played by Jodie Sweetin. Stephanie is the new Jesse, but, instead of a guitar she has a DJ booth. Stephanie has become the world recognized “DJ Tanner” and travels the world partying… But, she also is still an amazing actor, not something that can be said for a lot of this cast. She really pulls this show together in my opinion. I’m not going to lie, Fuller House does not have a single originality to it. Every single bit of this show IS Full House. The good news is that it fakes being Full House really well! So, if you like Full House you will like this show! Enjoy!

Fuller House trailer review

That was… Hard to watch. Was it that bad the first time around? Fuller House is the new Netflix show that is coming out. Much like Full House it follows DJ, who has recently lost her husband and moves into her old house with her sister and friend Kimmy. I was very excited for this until I watched the trailer. The acting has gone downhill since the 90’s, and everything just seems like a callback. This trailer was ONLY bad jokes, old references, shitty acting, and annoying Kimmy. Now, I realize, that could just be for trailer sake and they could have made a great show and are cutting a trailer to look like the old show… I know that. Don’t tell me how to do my job! BUT, this is a trailer review. And that trailer was shit. Garbage. A big ol’ bag of dicks… It was bad. I bet you the only funny episodes are the ones with Stamos, Coulier, and Saget… I really don’t want one of my favorite shows ruined for me but it looks that way.
